Osage Plains Indian Pendant c-1920s
This was originally a broken tie slide that we have turned into a fabulous pendant. Although the Water Bird is a very old imagery who’s origins are pre Columbian, this particular bird is fabulously contemporary in design. The waterbird in old and Peyote Religion and current Native American Church is called the Anhinga.
Note, these pieces of early German silver were never made for tender, solely, for personal use. Very special.
