Daisy was a Historic Navajo weaver from the Two Grey Hills region and was born around 1909 or 1911. She is documented as the most significant 20th-century Navajo weaver, winning the Gallup Ceremonial for 25 years. According to Mark Hooper, author & owner of the Todalena Trading Post, Daisy could spin the wool finer than anyone, as she wove well over 100 wefts per inch on her tapestries.
