Santo Domingo Turquoise Encrusted Pin

This Santo Domingo Turquoise Encrusted Pin began as a concho on a belt. Later, a collector added the beautifully crafted silver surrounds to protect the delicate turquoise with the traditional pine pitch adhesive. I love that she has left the leather to reference its past use.
